Meet Dan Centinello

Dan Centinello is a veteran political and corporate strategist of several international, national, state and local  campaigns. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Lincoln Strategy Group (LSG), a prominent public affairs firm that offers expertise in both political and corporate strategy. LSG is well known for its issue advocacy and strategic consulting campaigns as well as for its emphasis on close collaboration with clients to craft winning strategies.

Dan brings 15 years of political experience across all 50 states, the Northern Mariana Islands, and other regions of the United States. Throughout his career, Dan Centinello has held leadership roles in two presidential campaigns, two gubernatorial campaigns, a senatorial campaign, and several local campaigns; in fact, his work has shaped campaigns for prominent political figures including Governor Mitt Romney, Governor Chris Christie, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Senator Roy Blunt, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, and many more. Dan has also managed corporate issue campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.

In addition, Dan has significant experience running state party systems as the State Director for the Republican National Committee in California as well as the Executive Director of the New Jersey Republican Party. He is also a contributor to US News & World Report.

Furthermore, Dan has considerable experience with international campaigns. His work on four international campaigns has led him to France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Over the course of the past six months, Dan Centinello has led the efforts to set up LSG’s international presence in Barcelona, Spain, where he is currently based.

During the 2012 presidential election, Dan Centinello was the National Deputy Political Director for Governor Mitt Romney’s campaign. In this capacity, Dan managed all voter contact, data analytics, and voter targeting efforts across the country. In fact, Dan and his team presented daily analyses of critical information to Governor Romney’s closest advisers in order to shape strategic decisions.

Prior to his current role with LSG, Dan served as the Regional Director for the Southern United States and Silicon Valley at FWD.us, an organization co-founded by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to mobilize the tech community in support of commonsense immigration reform. Dan Centinello was responsible for all political and grassroots activities on behalf of the organization in fourteen states and was the primary liaison to high ranking figures in immigration and tech companies across the nation.

Altogether, Dan Centinello has managed over 593 paid operatives as well as developed, implemented, and overseen campaign budgets totalling over $173.3 million. As a result of his work, Dan has been named one of the top 40 political consultants under the age of 40 by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).
